Colfax Record Wins CNPA Awards in 2002 California Contest

The Colfax Record earned three CNPA Better Newspapers Contest awards at a luncheon in San Francisco. Editor A. Thomas Homer won first place for a July 25 feature photo of lifeguard Hailey Carp and second for a Oct. 24 feature on Doc Mishler’s Montana to Mill Valley horse journey. Cartoonist Jim Bowers took second for Above the Smog.
