Two Fresno State captains forge lasting bond before last rodeo
Colfax and Mariposa natives Nate Ray and Logan Mankins, Fresno State football captains, prepare for a final matchup in Boise against 18th ranked Virginia. Their 25 point playoff showdown in 2000 sparked a friendship that deepened through Bulldog Village, ranch visits, and shared seasons, with Mankins eyed for an NFL pick and Ray set to graduate in Plant Science.
