Harold G. Wells of Lowanna dies when his utility truck plunges 250 feet down a ravine after leaving the road near Coramba. Mrs Wells, Nancy Wells, and Donald Crampton suffer serious injuries. all are treated at Coffs Harbour District Hospital. A bus was near the same spot at the time of the accident.
