Assurance sought on Food for Britain shipments

At a Monday RS League meeting Digger Spencer advanced a motion asking the Head Branch to obtain a Federal Government assurance that Food for Britain would be loaded without delays and that shipping arrangements would not be unduly held up. Digger Fowler seconded and the motion passed unanimously amid debate over unionist rights and policy interference.
