The Booms Noomana Bush Fire Brigade will hold its annual meeting at Mr L Grant’s office at 4 yan on Friday Sth November. Cobram Red Cross notes activities in September 1943 with donations to general funds and War Fund. Grace Robertson, Red Cross Hospital, Tocumwai Cross members from Finley, Benn, Cobram discuss hospital organization by four branches. The 5th Base Military Hospital branch may visit twice monthly and petrol funds approved by the Transport section of the Italian Red Cross. The Red Cross Emergency supports visits. first visit included flowers, cakes, and chocolates for patients, appreciated, especially the cakes. A donation of funds for mending is planned. Next visit on 9 November. donations of cakes and jam welcomed. Final Christmas visit planned. Christmas cheer events at the hospital dance.
