Local Cobram Comforts Fund plans a New Year’s Day gymkhana featuring trotting events, flag and bending races, rescue races, best rider, pedestrian and children’s contests plus school championships. Tickets at 10/6 admit two adults and all children under 14. prize money offered and riders urged to prepare horses.

Correspondence covers factory site offers, war effort inquiries, land resale and rubbish removal, weighbridge cooperation, returns policy for positions, transport and rail queries, school consolidation plans, and donations to Bush Fire Brigades.
