The western drama The Mountain Waif in four acts drew a full assembly hall in Coatesville on Saturday night. Cast included C D Knight, Bonnie Greenlee, Leslie D Owen, and John Masten. It credits thorough investigation and humane policy, highlighting a case where a wayward son warned his mother and warned of arrest if he did not work, illustrating the board’s approach to parole.
A mother reports her son has started a new job at twenty dollars per week. He tells her he was a fool, pledges to give ten dollars weekly for a year to atone, and will thank Mr. G for his help when he sees him. He remains employed and progressing daily.

They were greeted with a lively village celebration later that evening as Casady helped set up doors and treats downtown. The bride, known as a store clerk, and Casady, a local blacksmith who recently started his own shop, win well wishes for happiness and prosperity.
Clarence and Jed W Vaughn announce a public auction at the Clarence Vaughn farm one and a half miles east of Stilesville along the National road on a Friday. Items include cattle hogs corn hay straw farm implements and other articles with nine months credit or cash discount. Auctioneers Col A A Bigg and QC Dubbs and Sco-ton Licks clerk. Scilesville Baptist Mission circle to serve lunch.

Nancy Ann Christy born January 24 1842 near Coatesville Indiana died in Danville Indiana March 1915 aged 73 years 1 month and 5 days. She lived in Coatesville most of her life and spent winter in Danville with her daughter Ella Wright due to ill health. Survived by eight children Mary Grimes Lewis Smith Rebecca Masten Mellie Christy Ella Wright Charles Christy Anna Crews Alice Smith Rosa Christy and William Christy with ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services were held March 3 at the Coatesville M E church with Rev D E Noland and Rev Geo S Reedy and interment in Forest Hill cemetery Greencastle. She was a devoted wife mother and neighbor and a faithful member of the Coatesville Moor Church for 37 years. Her life was marked by industry patience kindness self sacrifice charity and faith in God. Her favorite verse was All things work together for good to them that love God.
Irving J. Brown announces he has taken the agency for the Dodge Brothers Motor Car in Danville Indiana. The touring car and roadster will be offered at the same price and sold on their merits with prompt shore notice. Brown invites interested buyers to call.
The notice lists good quality potatoes apples cabbage and onions for sale. Potatoes priced at $1.50 per sack of two and a half bushels with other goods in proportion. C Warrock and Miss Fern Gray of Amo visited Guilia Masten on Sunday.
