Lou Ella Bales born October 18 1868 in Hendricks County Indiana died December 18 1917 at age 49? two months after accompanying death from heart failure. She married Andrew Jackson Davis in 1880 and they had five children. Survived by three sons Merle Roy and Leo Davis and one daughter Mrs Cecil Wells with siblings and half siblings listed. She joined Baptist then Christian church and remained in New Winchester Indiana until death. Her death followed visiting Hymera Indiana with brother J H Bales. Card of thanks notes gratitude to Rev Blue Mrs Kila Hadley and undertaker Cecil Wells Merley Davis Roy Leo.

Obituary of Elizabeth Smith 72 at Home in Hendricks County
Elizabeth Hibbs Smith aged 72 died at her south town home after months of illness. Born February 6, 1845 in Hendricks County she lived on the family farm all her life. She married Charles P. Smith in 1871, had two sons Henry and Amos and two infant daughters. She joined the M E church in 1865 and died December 27, 1917. Funeral at home conducted by Rev. W J Stewart with burial in local cemetery.
