Miss Effie Leachman wed Allen Klinger at 4 30 PM Thursday in a Leachman residence ceremony. Rev J E Sherrill officiated with music by Gail Sherrill Kern and E M Wilhite. Attendants included Nellie Leachman and Ruth Hamrick, with a two course luncheon and a Madison honeymoon outfit.

Pioneer James Greenlee dies in Hendricks County
James Greenlee, born February 5, 1836 in Hendricks County, died February 15, 1912 at his son Elza Greenlee's home in Reno at age 76. He married Elizabeth Bryant in 1856 and left six children Martha Byrd James W W E John Alda, with Eliza Jane deceased in 1895. Funeral at M E Church conducted by Rev Sinock drew a large crowd. burial in cemetery south of town. Dearest father, thy loss we deeply feel.

Ground Feed Increases Profit As Corn Soars In Price
A corn price surge prompts advice to grind feed for all stock. Experiments from Kansas suggest grinding grain lowers cost per gain by about 25 to 35 percent, with 1,402 pounds of whole corn yielding 100 pounds of gain versus 911 pounds when ground. Ground feed benefits cows, fattening steers, and pigs, and could enable more corn and hay to be sold in spring.
