Forty two clubs, nearly 175 girls, attended the Camp Short gathering with 39 clubs represented. Each girl met projects, attended meetings, paid for meals, and contributed to Purdue travel funds. Prizes went to Avon, Litton, and Danville clubs for stunts like a Matrimonial Agency. A county home economics class formed. camp leaders and visitors praised the event, with plans to exhibit at the county fair August 18–19.
