M. P. Bonham chief engineer at the federal building Indianapolis residing near Reno suffered a serious crash when his car was struck by an east bound fast train at the Big Four grade crossing. He was unconscious for about an hour with a deep head wound and bruises. He was treated by Dr. Hope Coatesville then taken home to recover.
