Dana Hills student paints Salt Creek mural in tunnel
Dana Malik, 16, a Dana Hills High School art student, leads 50 peers and OC Park rangers in painting a 22 by 50 foot mural of Salt Creek Beach inside the tunnel to the surfing spot. The project, ongoing 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, aims to capture the beach’s laid back vibe with a VW bus and surfboard motif.
