Clintus Girls Injured In Runaway Buggy Accident
Five year old girls from west of the city were seriously injured when a horse pulling their buggy ran away near Ellsworth. The horse bolted after being frightened by a car, causing the buggy to overturn. Brothers Lewis, Frank, and Jacob Reed aided by Grivings were with the girls during the Fourth of July mishap.

Mrs. Wail White Dies After Short Illness At 34
Mrs. Wail White formerly Miss Nettie Taylor died after a brief illness due to bowel trouble. She leaves a husband four children her mother and 22 brothers Spence and Ira Taylor. Funeral Sunday at Spangler's cemetery. The Plain Dealer offers sympathy to the family.

Two Brothers Die After Powder Explosion At Mine
The Bartelano brothers Vahort and Gill Italians died from burns suffered when a spark ignited powder at No 5 Mine while tamping a shot. The incident occurred Monday evening. both men died Tuesday. Dr. Washburn treated them. Funeral services began with first rites conducted by the undertaker and their remains were laid to rest in Riverside cemetery.

Four Italians Plead Guilty in Rioting Case
Four of eight Italians arrested last Saturday night for rioting plead guilty and were fined. The other four will stand trial. The write up notes the rioting appears to be a fad among many people.
Sheriff Seizes Central Park in Clinton Replevin Action
Sheriff Stephens has seized Central Park three miles southeast of Clinton on the interurban line in a replevin suit filed by William Kelley J N First and D Johnson against Harry Smith proprietor. The park and amusements were active with a large crowd present yesterday. Smith is said to have fled the scene.
