Former Cliftonite Dies In Comanche
Mrs. George H. Lippe 29 of Comanche died at 7 50 am Wednesday September 4 after a short illness. She grew up in Clifton, worked at Farmers State Bank Barn in Comanche, joined Metoolist Church, married George Henry Lippe on June 4 1960 and had daughter Susan Annette. She is survived by husband daughter and four relatives. Funeral services were held September 5 at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs W C Jones aged 93 widow of Dr W C Jones of Walnut Springs and her daughter Mrs Joe Montgomery of Route 1 Meridian visited the Record office Monday. District 8 Girls 4H Council convened at the Clifton National Guard Armory for its first business meeting of the year with Darlene Place elected as 1964 State 4H Council delegate. Officers and delegates from 18 counties attended and reports from past awards events were presented. A separate Junior Leader District 84H Club Workshop planning session planned the 1964 Summer Activity with the theme 4H A Key to the Future.

Richard Odell Moffatt known as Hoot of Kingsville died in Kingsville on Sunday September 15 after a heart attack. He was aged Clifton raised son of Lem and Mrs Moffatt and is survived by his wife and two daughters. Funeral services were held in Kingsville at 10 the following Tuesday with interment there.
