Device Aims to Cut Bollworm Cost with Steam Sterilizer

Mrs. W. T. Tunstall Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. W. T. Tunstall, age fifty nine, passed away Saturday morning after weeks of illness. She married C. S. Tunstall in 1894 at Camp Arkansas and is survived by her husband, a son C. L. Tunstall of Whitney, three sisters Ida Collett, Augusta McClain, Mary Bland, and a brother Franklin McNair. A Methodist for many years, she was described as a good Christian woman. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church last Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with E. N. Scarlett and Rev. Frank Nixon officiating, and interment followed in Clifton cemetery.

Valley Mills Man Fatally Hurt in Bosqueville Incident
Raymond Bailey a 43 year old Valley Mills man was knocked unconscious after being struck on the head twice at a Bosqueville road house and died of a skull fracture. Deputies sought an alleged assailant while Bailey was transported to a Waco hospital and died Wednesday night.
