Tickets for the Matt Clifton football game on Friday, Sept. 10, are on sale now at local drug stores. Reserved seat season tickets have been on sale for weeks and sell on a first come, first served basis. Gate prices: $1.75 for reserved seats, $1.50 general admission. Students pay 75 cents in advance. at gametime all must buy general admission. No student tickets at the gate.

Central Texas Fair and Rodeo in Clifton Sept 2 3 4 drew large crowds with a parade in downtown Clifton and a Thursday night rodeo. Breakfast at City Hall Friday showcased praise from youngsters through Homer McDougal. Winners included McGregor band first in large bands Craw ford first in small bands Meridian second in small bands Clifton did not compete. Friday noon meals fed about 400. high point prizes went to Brenda Poston and Walter Poston Jr. Awards for showmanship covered Fat Lamb Breeding Sheep Steer Swine and Beef with local 4 H and area students winning. Homer McDougal credited the smooth event and thanks to helpers. Saturday attendance topped 3 000 for rodeo and parade contests.
