Funeral services were held for Mrs. Belle Matson Schulze 66 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church Norse with Rev. Joel E. Nelson officiating. She died August 31 in a local hospital after surgery in March and had been active in church work. Interment followed in Our Savior's Church Cemetery Norse. She leaves husband Adolph E Schulze of Clifton, three daughters, five grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, and her mother Anna Matson.

Museum Grounds To Be Beautified
The Bosque Memorial Museum board met on August 18 to approve grounds beautification and improved use. P H Olsen drew plans, with mill stones from Norway Mills donated by Oscar Omenson, to be joined with native Bosque River rocks. The board approved the plan and allocated 250 for materials, while the city and county pledged support. The June county commissioners added 200 to the museum treasury to fund the project.
