Cheritian O Holen a former Bosque County resident died Monday August 2 1948 in Tacoma Washington after a period of illness. Funeral services were held August 4 at the C C Chapel with Rev P B Hoff officiating and burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Park and Washington. Born March 20 1850 in Loiven Hedemarken Norway he moved to Clifton area at age 15 with Ole and Olle Hole family. He married Gina Dat on September 27 1887 producing seven children. Surviving children include Oia M Bovina Center NY Christine Gee Houston Ole Camrose Alberta Hendrick and Bible L W Hane plus Michael in Tacoma and ten grandchildren. He lived at various farms near Clifton and spent time in Norway and Oklahoma before moving to Packland Washington in 1917 then Tacoma. His wife Elisabeth Monson Holen died April 20 1941. He was active in church and his favorite hymn was Dev Store Vide flok vi.
