Mrs Anne Olsen widow of Andrew Olson died at the Meridian home of Mrs Emi lie Jackson last Saturday October 14. Born in Denmark she came to Texas about 40 years ago dwelling in Dallas long then on the Olson farm near Cranfill Gayanti after his death six years ago. She was buried Sunday afternoon in the Glefe cemetery beside her husband. Friends and relatives attended with her brother Ed Erickson of Midland and other kin from Fert Fripp.

Mr. J.J. Lane, aged seventy five, died suddenly last Saturday night October 14 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Jim Hulme in the Roewell community where he had been living. He had not seemed gravely ill but collapsed after starting to leave a room. Funeral services were held at the grave in Coon Creek cemetery. He leaves a wife deceased years ago five daughters two sons and many grandchildren.
Sixteen members answered a call Tuesday October meeting with Mrs. Gassman. Mr. Grimland presented a program as Mrs. Lovelady sang I Know a Lovely Garden to an encore. New members Veoth Schow E T Schow and Carell set joined. a postlude and refreshment followed. The club adjourned to meet October 24 with Mrs. Priddy.
