Clifton Commercial Club endorses Davis plan and plans fair exhibits
Clifton Commercial Club met Monday night approving three members to advisory posts with the Texas Commercial Secretaries Association. They backed National Corn Club interest speaker J. Davis and pledged support to secure his services, cover transport for exhibits to the Bosque County Fair, and prepare a Clifton City booth. Also reported were real estate transfers, postponed officer elections, and the death of Mrs. John Ludwig. The second annual Gorn Show featured 1M exhibits with Walter Davis praising gov ernment guidance and several boys earning prize announcements. Horace Smith was named president and Dallas Fair invited for Boys Corn Club Day.

The First Presbyterian Church adapts Sunday services as the pastor attends a Bynod meeting. Members will worship at the Mo E church South at 11 o'clock. G G. Bightower will lead Sunday services at the Presbyterian Church at 7 o'clock with his congregation. Sunday school meets at 7:44 in the Presbyterian Church. A prayer meeting is held Wednesday evenings at 7:30 open to all.
