The State Highway Commission awarded a 6 764 mile contract on FM 2602 and FM 2960 in Bosque and Hill Counties to J P Atkinson Inc of Clifton for 185 447 03 dollars. Brooks Evans says grading base and surfacing will take 120 working days under T H Ralph who oversees construction. The project links FM 2602 from 5.1 miles southwest of State Highway 6 to FM 2171 north of Mosheim and from State Highway 22 near Whitney through Prairie Valley on these FM roads.
