Centennial Committee Draws Clifton Civic Leaders
A 1954 Clifton meeting invited Centennial Committee members from the Clifton Civic Society and the Clifton Lions Club to plan a county centennial effort. Miss Sadie Swenson and Miss Elsie Coston led the Beta Beta and Civic Society delegates in organizing the county Centennial Committee, with plans for a City Hall gathering on Tuesday October 10 at 7:30 to formalize the group.
