The November 18 1960 Clifton Record covers Clifton’s Class A district bid with Mart as bi district foe, notes Waco News Tribune ranking Clifton high, and lists seat prices. It reports a freak store accident at Clifton Mercantile damaging windows and vehicles with over ten thousand dollars in damages but no serious injuries. It also details new staff hires including Owen Ringness as division engineer for Community Public Service Company and a Laguna Park post office clerk appointment. The issue notes hunting and fishing reports, births in town, and local social events and engagements with several names and dates in November 1960.
