Report of the condition of The First National Bank at Clifton Texas as of November 10 1910 with resources including loans and discounts 106 55842 and bonds 65 00000 and deposits totaling 105 080 95. Cashier O A Bronstad swore to the accuracy at Clifton Bosque County on November 17 1910 before notary J K McSpedgen.

Executed by President H H Baley and Cashier J M Jenson before Notary J M Brooks on November 17, 1910 Bosque County Texas.
The second and third grades announce a Young People's Book Booth at the Flower Show selling standard story books for all ages at moderate prices. Proceeds will fund a good copy of a famous painting for the school. Sunday School superintendents and teachers are invited to view the selection and buy Christmas books.
Meridian Creek School opened last Monday with Prof. Tyler Majors of Morgan as teacher. County Superintendent Prof. C L Batson attended and gave an encouraging talk on school work. The local literary and debating society was reorganized and will host the first events tomorrow night debating whether all old bachelors should be taxed to support old maids.
St. Olaf's Church will hold a service next Sunday November 20 at 11am conducted by Rev J K Rystad. On Thanksgiving November 24 services are at Crawfills Gap school house at 10 30am in English and at Cove Springs school house at 3 30pm in Norwegian. A benevolent offering is requested.
Regular services will be held next Sunday November 20 at 10 45 am in Norwegian and 7 30 pm in English The Lord s Supper will be administered at the evening service Sunday school at 9 45 am On Thanksgiving Day November 24 at 3 pm a program of songs readings and recitations will be presented under the Beneca Society All are welcome.
The German Lutheran Church of Clifton will hold its annual Mission Feast next Sunday November 20 at 10 30 am and 2 30 pm. Speakers are Rev E F Moerke of Hamilton and Rev Prof F W C Jesse. An offering will support mission work. All who understand a German sermon are invited.

M. E. Melton jailed after eluding officers for months in a fraud case involving Lou Mims of Ennis. Melton identified by Mims as the man who swindled fifty dollars in Ennis and later held in Greenville before transfer to Waxahachie. Authorities note a bank account in Waco that may be garnisheed.
