Semi-Annual Meeting Of Bosque County Program Group
The Bosque County Program Building Committee met November 6 in Meridian courthouse with twelve attendees. The gathering outlined plans for agriculture and home economics improvements, 4-H expansion, and adult participation, plus future goat sheep field day and range projects. The next meeting is April 19, 1962 at Meridian High School cafeteria with a covered-dish program.

Local residents seek swift recoveries after hospital surgeries

Dedication services for the Smith Bend Baptist Church will be held at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon November 19. Main speaker is Reverend Roy Hill of Meridian First Baptist. Schulze Couple Returns From Clifton Hospital
Mr and Mrs A G Schulze of Route 2 Meridian have returned home from Clifton hospital where he was admitted November 6 for medical treatment and she had minor surgery the next day. Clifton Chapter of the Future Farmers of America earned 160 ribbons and $873.75 across fairs in Clifton, Waco, and Dallas. David Gouldman showed multiple steers placing second, third, ninth, and tenth at Heart O’ Texas Fair in Waco, while at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas 13 steers competed and several members won blue and red ribbons in cattle, swine, turkeys, and poultry events.
