Clifton Cubs Run Past Midway 40–19 To Stay In District Fight
Clifton Cubs beat Midway Panthers 40 to 19 at Dun Standum last Friday night to stay in the district title race. Key TDs came from Joe Todd Tony Hall and Russell Hall with Canuteson adding four extra points. Midway answered with two 61 and 56 yard passes and a third from a series of completions. Clifton’s defense contained Midway’s ground game though both clubs traded turnovers and big plays. Next, Clifton hosts Hillsboro in a decisive district test as Canuteson led with 10 tackles and Sinderud with two pass interceptions.

Bosque County unit of the American Cancer Society reports October memorials totaling $99.00 from donors in Morgan, Cleburne, Anvchie, Waco, McAllen, Clifton and Valley Mills.
