Lions To Install Officers June 12
The Clifton Lions Club will hold its 44th annual installation of officers at 7 p.m. June 12 at the Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home with a ladies night program. Dr. J. D. Pierson of Texas State Technical Institute Waco will speak. Officers include Jim Jones president and Roy Berry lion tamer. Directors feature Jim B Smith and Dr. Donald Gloff. The club with 107 members raised 1100 last week for charitable projects and installed a new bulletin board in front of City Hall donated by W. E. and W. L. Patterssall.

Pastoral Care Seminar on Death and Dying Schedule
A pastoral care seminar on Death and Dying will be held at Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home on June 6 and 7 with a $750 grant from Lutheran Brotherhood Life and Health Insurance Society. Lutherans from the area were invited, and sessions run 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. day one and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. day two. Speakers include Chaplain Herman Cook and Dr. Donald Gloff with other local clinicians and chaplains.
