Douglas Standefer Dies After Extended Illness
Douglas Wilburn Standefer, oldest son of Mr and Mrs G W Standefer, died July 4 1906 in Clifton Texas after a three month illness. He worked as a driller in Texas oil fields for twelve years and was a Clifton High School graduate. He is survived by his mother, father, three brothers, two sisters in law, and many relatives. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church with Rev Kendall Rev Kia and Rev Edwards officiating.
