Oil curtailment dominates Texas proration hearing

Expected orders may keep Sunday shutdowns and possibly extend Saturday curtailments. The measure cuts the oil fund payroll and lowers monthly revenue by about 15000 dollars. Meanwhile campaigns for state offices gain steam as farmers seek relief and government funds face scrutiny. A new granite capital building project progresses as Austin faces space needs.
