The 23rd annual UT Board of Regents report to Governor Moody shows grazing leases on University lands brought in 260 612 09 dollars for 1927 28. Handling costs run about 1 percent. Since 1895 the university land agent manages grazing leases, with incomes rising from 7 670 dollars average yearly between 1884 and 1894 to 40 409 dollars in 1898 and growth over 30 years to current levels.
