James C. Prescher of Clifton has been named a Distinguished Student in veterinary medicine at Texas A&M University. Dean Shelton announced the honor, noting a 3.25 GPA or better is required for the spring trimester. Prescher is a second year veterinary student and the son of Fritz Prescher of Clifton.
