Dr. H Benedict longtime president of the University of Texas dies at 67 after a heart attack near the campus. He had led the university a decade and served the school half a century. His wife Mrs Benedict and son Yandel Jr mourn the loss. A veteran son Cash Stone Benedict died in World War I. Benedict and colleagues had recently met with a legislative committee on appropriations.
