Andrew Helmer Wollum, born November 10 1901, died April 29 after a period of illness. Survived by his parents Ole and Mrs Wollum and six brothers. The funeral was held April 20 at home and 3 PM at Sh church with interment at Island Lutheran Cemetery. Casualty totals announced show United States armed forces losses total 78,236 since war began.
