Gufton Public School held an open house on Thursday afternoon April 21 with tours of departments. Visitors registered, viewed student work in art, writing, mathematics, history, health, English, geography, spelling, drawing, reading, music, Spanish and agriculture. Ensign Martin Peder Sorenson USNR of Star Route 2 Cuscon will graduate May 12 from the Naval Reserve Officers Indoctrination School in Tucson Asia with the first battalion of the “Tactics of the Dever.” He completed basic seamanship navigation gunnery and communications training.
