Spitzer to Retire From Bosque County Clinic After 40 Years
Dr. Richard Spitzer of Clifton will retire after four decades of service to Bosque County patients. Born June 29, 1946, he began his career after flipping burgers and plans to keep contributing to the local baseball association and his seat on the Clifton City Council. He was born to Reva and Alvin Spitzer and was delivered by Dr. Seth L. Witcher, now a colleague.

The Bosque Arts Center hosts its annual Big Event gala with Cavalcade of Stars from Dallas headlining. Local singer Lisa Hallmark, who sang with the band for 11 years, opened the concert with several songs as the fundraiser kicks off the center’s year.

Clifton EDC tentatively approves airport grant under 7000
Clifton Economic Development Corporation members met April 26 and tentatively approved a grant request from Clifton Aero for a fueling system upgrade at the airport totaling just under 7000 dollars. The panel plans to present the item to the June 14 City Council for final approval.
