Absentee Voting Surges in 1970 Democratic Primary

Compared to 32 absentee ballots in 1966, this year marks a potential turnout record due to many candidates and contested races in Clifton and commissioners precincts 1 and 3. 90 Year Old Quilt With 14000 Pieces At Bosque Show
The Bosque Memorial Museum hosts a two day quilt show with historic quilts including a 14 000 piece piece quilt made in 1882. Hawaii designs and Norwegian costumes will be featured. Admission is 25 cents and proceeds support bosque museum restoration. Mrs Milton Brown speaks at 9 30 p m on both Sundays May 7 and May 14. Cleanup day for two baseball diamonds follows Friday May 6 at Little League Field invites volunteers with tools.
