Local Go Texan Teams Compete At Houston Rodeo
Bosque County Go Texan teams compete in the 2010 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo events in Houston and Katy. Marquita Bateman and Brent Prescher lead the Barbecue Cookoff team with Walnut Springs and Meridian members. A $15,000 Houston scholarship is awarded to Meridian High School senior Joe Barrett Winkler for his cookoff participation.
