Born August 18 1888 in Georgia he was a member of Clifton First Baptist Church. Survived by wife Maggie Cummins Clifton. two sons William Linzie Shivers Cleburne and Celbert Norris Shivers Fort Worth. a daughter Mrs Willie Olsen Sr Altha Lurena Route 1 Clifton. six grandchildren four step grandchildren and three more relatives.
