The fifth annual World Society of Christian Service session of the Central Texas Conference met at Five Methodist Church in Hillsboro Texas in March 1921 with over one hundred delegates registered and an estimated audience of about five thousand. Braid Bryan of Waxahachie led the conference and her son, Monk Bryan of St Louis Missouri, spoke as a principal speaker with Mrs Wil Fort from the church attending the event. The group planned pledges totaling 41 100 for the current year and noted growth of the local society with future plans through 1946.
