A store ad promotes the Poultry Show and urges use of Safety-Hatch Incubator and spray pumps with Lee's Lice Killer. It markets riding and walking planters, a disc cultivator, and Hallock weeders. It touts Cotton Seed of 1920 crop, millet seed, and sweet potato seed. warns against anthrax. claims favorable seed yields and low prices.
City Council orders a vote to decide if bonds totaling 10 000 for sewer, 20 900 for water works extension, 25 000 for city hall and auditorium, and 35 000 for municipal light plant should be issued. Contract with C B Nichols affects timing.
Thomas W. Ballenger aged 73 died at his Hemet California home after a lingering illness following an automobile wreck. Born December 24, 1842 in Providence Missouri he lived in Clifton Teams before moving to New Mexico and finally Hemet in 1919. He married Barbara Anderson in 1870 and Maie Collins in 1872, leaving three children Archie Grey William Thomas and Minnie Low. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Harry Hillard officiating. Burial in Hemet San Jacinto cemetery.

The Thorson family leaves to serve in China as missionaries after years in the Lutheran and Norwegian Lutheran churches. Priscilla and family are honored in a farewell week with friends and church members praising their work and support. Their future voyage to join mission work in China is planned for August.
The inaugural poultry show at Clifton drew 306 exhibitors from Husque County and nearby regions, declaring the event the largest and most successful yet held. Winners included Holand Me lank and other notable entries, with officials and associates listed for governance and planning.
The Prather Studio hires Mr A Taylor former Daniels Studio Brownwood as portrait photographer. He comes highly recommended by Miller Howell Brout Stus Temple Wace Me studios and is touted as an artist of great ability. The studio promises first class work and seeks a buyer for a valuable ring in a separate note from Anna Stapp of Clinton.
The Methodist church announces Sunday events led by M.S. Clement as Superintendent. Sunday school at 10 AM, preaching at 11 AM and evening service by the pastor. Junior League meets at 4 PM with 4H and Walker listed as pastor.
