Dhriswon W. Greenwade aged 76 died of a heart attack at Clifton Fest.Clubs March 1941. Services were held at 2 PM at Whitney Methodist Church with interment in the Clifton Cemetery. Survived by three sons B Palmer Greenwade, Bronham, J Walton Greenwade. one daughter Mrs Ariki W Kornegay. five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Burial moved to family plot due to Whitney road construction.

The Whitney Messenger reports rising work on the Whitney Dam with plans and specifications for embankment work available in Galveston around March 10 1947. Brown and Root hold road contract and expect site operations to begin within weeks while preparatory earthwork and slope protection move forward attracting up to 400 workers to the Galveston area.

Her survivors include husband Hershel Rosser, daughters Dorothy Loe Carol Ann and Barbara Joe, sisters Frances and Dorothy, brothers Tammy Lester and others. Pallbearers included Arthur Bronsted James Bronstad Giver Brynstad and Ole Bakke.
