Clifton Park Beauty and Plan for Public Grounds
A long note extols Clifton City Park as a shaded riverfront oasis with a quarter mile of riverbank, level ground, and gravel bottoms for swimming. It urges community effort to beautify the 40 acre site, linking Clifton with Meridian Highway and inviting residents to support a one day park-improvement drive led by the Civic Improvement Society. It also reports the Murphree Gaston wedding in Cranfie Gap and notes plans for a motorist-friendly park.
