Milas Leone Seedig became the bride of Mr. Lynwood Farr in a Sunday evening ceremony at the bride’s father’s home near Clifton. Rev. P. E. Thorson officiated. Miss Evelyn King of Dallas assisted, Harold Parr of Dallas acted as best man, with attendants in formal attire. The couple exchanged rings and used traditional wedding customs. a reception followed the elaborate ceremony.
Clifton hosts Fort Worth Fat Stock Show boosters drawing over sixty attendees from the Lifein Club. The gathering aims to boost community support for the upcoming show as residents and their families engage in preparations and civic outreach.

Hamilton ranchman, father of Dr. W. D. Went of Ft. Worth, died in a hospital after an automobile collision on highway 40 five miles south of Gainesville in rain. His wife, 68, was severely injured with possible fractured skull. Truck driver George Johnson of Fort Worth survived with injuries. The Wests were en route to Avstrade, Ohio to visit daughter. Body to be sent to Hamilton for burial.
