Bosque Pioneer Taken by Death

Prandy Marion Goodall of Bosque County died at home near Valley Mills on a Saturday at 11:85 pm. Born Cedar Hill Peti in 1850, he moved with his parents to the Bosque County farm and lived there until death. He married in 1881 and remained at the old homestead. a bank director at Valley Mills and member of the Masonic lodge, he led funeral services at Mills Cemetery with Rev Re Hettinton and Rev C D Bailey assisting. Pallbearers included C E Duniby and D V Potain among others.

Exon ian Swine Specialist E M Tegenbrecht cites 450,000 contracts in the Belt and 140,000 nationwide, with 1074 hog and 215 contracts in the local county. Mrs Thos L Gillespie Dies After Long Illness

Mrs Thos L Gillespie aged 56 died at her home near town Monday night after a long illness. She was the eldest child of Mr and Mrs W B Holm, dec’d, and spent most of her life in the vicinity. She studied at the University of Texas as a young woman and was noted for a levelheaded view of life and concern for family. In her final days she even dictated burial wishes in a memorandum.
