Shriners Honor Local Residents At Clifton Meeting
At the Karem Shrine monthly gathering in Clifton, Shirley Hines and Ben Lamblin were honored. Hines, a former Scottish Rite Hospital patient, spoke of the life changing care she received and the hospital’s lasting impact. Lamblin, a Flying Fezzes member, recalled decades of transporting burn victims and other duties with Shriner support. Bosque County was praised for a yearly can drive that has raised over $30,000 for the hospitals, alongside the shrine’s $20,000 from recent collection points.
