Former Bosque County resident A. Morrison died Wednesday morning at Overton hospital after years of illness. Born January 7, 1868 in Arkansas, he was 77 years old. Survived by widow Martha Chenstalt and eight children, plus nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. seven children were present at the funeral near Overton. Funeral services were at Rocky Mt Baptist Church February 22, with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Also included is an election proclamation for Clifton, Texas, detailing an April 1945 election for mayor and aldermen.
