Alice Radde and Carolyn Reierson won senior and junior division honors at the County 4-H Club Dress Revue held at the County Courthouse in Meridian. Seventeen of 24 girls earned perfect scores on one section, with awards ribbons and special ribbons given for outfit and construction quality. The two winners proceed to the District 4-H Dress Revue in Stephenville on July 20.

Bosque County Farm Bureau members met at Iredell School Cafeteria on Tuesday June 20 at 7 30 p m with about 90 attendees including guests. W L Gauntt gave the invocation and John Kruse demonstrated soil and water conservation with weed control profit data from 2 4 D. The group planned a July 18 watermelon cut at Meridian State Park and adjourned at 9 30 p m.

Mr and Mrs Henry Prescher escaped injury when their 1960 Chevrolet was crushed between rails by the southbound Santa Fe Chief at the L T Torrence crossing around 3 40 pm. About $200 damage included a new $40 rod and reel. Helpers attempted to aid, but the train could not be stopped in time. Insurance adjuster and railroad claim agent are handling settlement talks.
