A wedding took place on Sunday June 15 at Central Lutheran in Dallas as Clarence Burley wed Miss Gurley in a simple ceremony officiated by Rev A E. Mrs Leonard Aare nee Olga Louise Mickelson died at home in Harmony Thursday June 12 1941. She spent her life in Harmony and was married June 18 1919 to Leonard Aare, leaving two children Homer and Batelle and a large family. Funeral at St Olaf Lutheran Church Granville Gap with interment at Stlat Cemetery noted by mourners and pastors.
The Bosque County Hereford Breeders Association invites stockmen to a pasture management program on Wednesday afternoon June 25 at 3 PM in College Hallon. Guest speakers include Mr R T Lancaster and Mr MT, with demonstrations on contouring erasing winds and proper utilisation of range. Strong interest expected as livestock owners seek valuable guidance on pasture development and management.
Mrs and Mr A M Kamkel announce the marriage of their daughter Lovie to Mr Benjamin W McKnight son of Mrs J T McKnight of Ferrie Texas on April 8 1941 in Walters Kishoma. The bride wore a powder blue dress with navy and white accessories. Corsage was white carnations. The couple was attended by Mr and Mrs E Koken of Temple Oklahoma. Bride is a graduate of Clifton High School and Provident Seminar Nursing Waco. Mr McKnight is a Perrin High School graduate. They reside at 804 East Jefferson Dallas Texas.
Mayor J. Standefer and seven Clifton riders were returning from a club outing when his horse balked and fell as he tried to mount. His left shoulder was broken, right side bruised, face scratched, and his left foot caught in the stirrup. he was rushed to the local hospital for treatment.
Last Friday afternoon Mrs Hector Hill, assisted by her mother Mrs Jank Bradstreet, hosted bridge clubs at her South Clifton spa lou home. Guests enjoyed flowers and refreshments after games. Mrs Joseph Nelson won high, Mrs Raymond Rogstad second, Mrs Lottie Bettis high guest. Guests listed include Mrs Sven Aare and others. June 27 set for next event.

The wedding of Miss Ima Hazel Rogstad to Charles Perry Broyles took place Sunday at 6 p m at the Rogstad home in Cranfills Gap. Ruth Rogstad sang with Christine Swenson, Rev. Walter T. Gigstadt officiated, and an improvised fern altar set the scene. The bridal party wore navy and alpaca. reception followed with many guests in attendance.
