Clifton's Second Annual Quarter Horse Show earns Class B status
Clifton's 2nd Quarter Horse Show drew 220 entries this past Saturday, with 175 in the Quarter Horse and 45 in Youth Activities. Flashy Black, owned by Arthur Kramer of Dallas and shown by Jack Newton, won the Billy Cooke Trophy as high point horse with 27 points, while Pat Nubbins ridden by John Fenn of Clifton placed runner-up. Grand and Reserve champions included Dun Commander, Honey's Billy Van, Taco Hi Boy, Texas Quidada, Miss Ann Lusan, and Um A Go Far Bar, with photos of all champs available in The Record.
