Gun Shot Victim Dies Near Waco After Clifton Shooting
Sam Loroux died from an abdominal gunshot wound after a Sunday incident at his grandfather H P Cooper's Clifton area home. Dr J C Carpenter ferried him to Waco for care but recovery was deemed unlikely. Cooper was bonded then re-bonded after the death as officials pursued murder charges.
